    Creamy Cauliflower Soup

An abundance of cauliflower in my house had me digging through my cookbooks looking for recipes. When I found this “Creamy Cauliflower Soup” I knew this was going to hit the spot. I went to work and made this delicious combination for dinner and it did not disappoint. Everyone enjoyed the soup and Neo enjoyed the scraps of cauliflower that fell to the floor.

    Dragon Fruit Smoothie

I’ve been making smoothies… in the winter 🥶 crazy. I’ve been needing the extra boost of vitamins, phytonutrients, and antioxidants that they provide. So even though it’s a bit off-season here is a really yummy recipe I made today. 🍓 2 cups strawberries 🍓 1 cup pineapple 🍓 1 cup mango 🍓 1 cup dragon fruit 🍓 2 cups of pure water or non-dairy milk! Put in your blender and blend up! Adjust more liquid as needed. Enjoy. Cheers ✨

    Chick’n Pot Pie

This pot pie is from my cookbook Vegan Cooking for Carnivores by Roberto Martin, I have made many recipes in this book but this is one I had been putting off, due to the fact that it had Gardein patties in it, making it a little less healthy. This recipe took a few times to get right. Practice makes perfect. The pie crust was a bit challenging because I’ve never worked with pie crust before, another challenge was that I never had pot pie ever so I didn’t know what it tastes like or if I would like it. I usually shy away from any frozen veggie and prefer fresh but this recipe has frozen peas and carrots and tasted perfect. There could be a few modifications to make this recipe a bit healthier but all and all it was pretty tasty and I got no complaints. Roberto’s recipes never disappoint.

    NEW Vegan egg that cracks!

A vegan egg that cracks? It looks like an egg and cracks like an egg. It is an egg but with a twist. It's vegan, and it is completely made cruelty-free. In 2017 French bio-industrial students Sheryline and Philippine asked people who had adopted a vegan diet what they were missing.  The answer they got was eggs!! Aware of those of us that are allergic or intolerant to eggs they set a goal: to become the first hens with green eggs! Merveilloeufs is the name. "They come in a similar form to a hen's egg, that is, with a liquid white in which there is a spherical yellow that differs from white. To do this, we were inspired by molecular cooking techniques" say the two young engineers who are aiming to commercialize their vegan product in 2021. If you would like to stay updated they have a website a Facebook page and a Instagram.

    Raw Vegan Fruity Pebbles

When I am craving some cooling breakfast options, this is what I turn to. I miss cereal but not all the naughty stuff that is in traditional cereal (have you read the nutrition labels? Insanity!). So with that being said, I am welcoming this new yummy treat into my belly! This can double as a healthy dessert and a snack. It is super easy to make and totally healthier than cereal. On the go, no problem, throw it in your favorite mason jar and eat when you are ready. Enjoy this, my love.

    Long Life Soup

by Candle Cafe We are in the cold and flu season. I believe in boosting up my immune system with immune-boosting foods, opting out of the flu shot (I’ve never had one or the flu). This soup has been great for keeping up my immune system and fighting all those bad bugs we all encounter during the day. If you do start feeling down I recommend cooking this up it helps to fight off whatever it is that you may be coming down with. This soup is a gem I found it in the Candle Cafe Cookbook my very first vegan cookbook (awww.. memories). I made this soup when I was feeling down one day and it pepped me right up and ever since it has been my go-to when I feel sick. Ginger, garlic, and cayenne are loaded with health benefits. They are said to increase circulation and stimulate metabolism as well as build up immune systems. Whether you’re feeling a cold coming on or not, this is an excellent soup to eat for your health and well-being. Essential oils Ginger & Oregano added to this dish may add to the beneficial immune-boosting power.
