I never thought I would be here talking about health

My interest in health and wellness began in 2013 when I suffered a health crisis. I came out of it with a huge appreciation for life, once a painfully shy girl, I am a little more outgoing. I love living in this world. I live life to the fullest. Every day is a new day full of new possibilities and adventures. I love a little harder, live with joy and gratitude and I can laugh sometimes so hard my belly and face hurt.

My Wellness Adventure

When I was sick, I was misdiagnosed several times, I was told I was depressed, and nothing was wrong with me. If I had not trusted my inner guide, I wouldn’t be here today. This experience gave me a huge distrust of modern medicine. Turning to alternative means to heal, I uncovered the wonderful healing benefits of whole natural foods, spirituality, and the gift of alternative medicine healing. I also learned to cook and garden. You could say I tuned into my inner tree-hugging, animal-loving, flower child.

The Best of Both Worlds

I am happy to say I am thriving, combining Western Medicine and Integrative Medicine. My care team of eight specialists is the best a girl could have. Try keeping track of those appointments…

Why am I here?

This blog is a place where I can come explain a few things, help, and share what I have learned these past few years on my wellness journey, reading books, taking classes, and tuning in to the world around me. It’s always my goal to continue to source the best information that I can find, however, I am not perfect, I am not a doctor or a professional researcher, I am just a girl from California with a passion for veggies, striving to live a healthier life mind, body, and soul.

My Wish for you

The main reason ​I am here is because of you! I want to share everything that I have learned, and that I am learning. I look at things through rose-colored glasses, and believe everyone wants to be happy, healthy and, thriving. I just know it! I have always said if I can make a difference in one person’s life, then all of this is worth it. I want to inspire you, to be the best version of yourself that you can be.

Baby Steps

I didn’t become healthy overnight, it took time. I work every day to become a better version of myself than I was the day before. I believe that simple changes to your diet can lead to many benefits, a boost in mood, clearer thinking, and more energy. So why not give it a shot?
