๐ŸŒถ Chili BBQ Sauce

A wonderful chili bbq sauce tastes great on anything you put BBQ sauce on. I was inspired by the BBQ Seitan Brisket I made in culinary school. I put this together quickly yesterday when I wanted to add a more BBQ flavor to my Beyond Burger.

Ingredients

๐ŸŒถ  2 tbsp dried mushroom powder (dried mushrooms ground in a spice grinder or purchased powder)
๐ŸŒถ  1 tsp chipotle powder
๐ŸŒถ  1 tsp Kashmiri Powder
๐ŸŒถ  1 tbsp tomato paste
๐ŸŒถ  2 tbsp maple syrup
๐ŸŒถ  2 tbsp vermouth or dry white wine (omit if wine free)
๐ŸŒถ  1 tsp vegan Worcestershire sauce
๐ŸŒถ  1 tsp liquid smoke
๐ŸŒถ  1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
๐ŸŒถ  1/4 cup tamari
๐ŸŒถ  1 cups vegetable stock or water

Instructions

Add all ingredients into a sauce pot, cook to boil and then simmer for 15-20 minutes.
